"Would you be
willing to look after the grave of a local hero?
Atherton Cenotaph Memorial Project Group are working to improve the
Cenotaph and its surrounds and to raise awareness of what it stands for.
As part of this, we are looking for local people or organisations to
help look after some of the graves located within Atherton Cemetery.
Many of the graves are looked after by relatives of the dead but some
are not and we need YOUR help to keep those tidy.
I wouldn't be a big commitment but would be a mark of respect for
those who gave their lives for their country.

Atherton Dragons ARLFC
are always looking for new players to join us &
have fun starting to learn the basic core skills of Rugby League.
If you're child is either -
Age 5 (in School Year 1 from this September) or
Age 6 (in School Year 2 from this September)
and they would like to give Rugby League a try, we are now running
training sessions for next season's Under 7s team.
Hopefully players will develop some good skills, meet new friends,
have lots of fun in the process and will also be able to take part in
games as soon as they reach age Six.
