THE THREE WAITERS
The Three Waiters are taking the country by storm as one of the most
unusual dinner entertainment presentations currently available. The whole idea is that The Three Waiters are totally inconspicuous and start the evening in the role of drinks and service waiters in the uniform of the chosen venue. During the course of dinner their performance unfolds.It all starts with an announcement from the "head waiter" to draw
attention to his importance and to set the scene and this short announcement is followed by the "head waiter" breaking into song which is a section from an operatic aria. The audience are usually quite shocked and stunned that a "head waiter" can sing and there is an appreciative reaction.A short while later, again during the course of dinner, a second "drinks
waiter" makes an announcement at the microphone that he can also sing and has been bet a sum of money that he would have the courage to go up and prove a point that he can sing better than his boss. The "drinks waiter" takes the role of a Frenchman, the "head waiter" that of an Italian. The "drinks waiter" gets an even greater reaction and then the two of them launch into a repartee involving the difference between the French and Italians with a lot of visual and verbal comedy involving encouragement from the audience. At the end of it they make peace with each other and agree to sing a duet.Just as they are about to start, a third, typically English, waiter
makes a surprise entrance from the back of the room up-staging the two of them. Further comedy dialogue takes place and all three of them finish up singing together for three or four pieces, including Nessun Dorma. This finale is dramatic and powerful and in the style of the Three Tenors.The Three Waiters appeal to audiences of all types, they make the most
of the presence of ladies - singing directly to them. They are able to work for all sized audiences from fifty to a thousand and it is essential that the lighting is good so that they can be seen and that they see their audience. Their finale is timed to take place towards the end of the main course under normal circumstances. Their act is dependent on a high quality sound system with three radio microphones, a technical operator, reverb and their backing tracks are on CD.Because The Three Waiters are top quality singers and are also character
actors special adaptations can be made to their material and their appearance, for example they can work as three Chefs. The Three Waiters have undertaken several hundred corporate events with unqualified success.

They were formed over ten years ago and have been performing twice a week to capacity crowds at the home of British Comedy, The Comedy Store. Numerous sell out national tours have left audiences howling with laughter from the Liverpool Empire to the London Palladium.
Individually they each have a glittering array of credits. Not a week goes by without one of them appearing on TV or radio, not to mention regular appearances in West End Theatre and top movies.

The Comedy Store Players Corporate Show presents a five players team featuring Neil Mullarkey, Lee Simpson, Jim Sweeney, Richard Vranch and a special guest who will be a leading impro comedy star.
All the performers appear regularly with the Comedy Store Players on tour and at London's Comedy Store in Oxenden Street, nr. Leicester Square.
NEIL MULLARKEY is a founder member of the Comedy Store Players and one of the most experienced and talented improvisers in Britain. His innumerable televison and radio appearances include Paul Merton - The Series, Just A Minute, The News Quiz and chairman of Radio 4's Missed Demeanours. His films include Leon The Pig Farmer, Solitaire For Two and he was co-writer of I Married An Axe Murderer with Mike Myers. He has just finished touring the country in One Word Impro with Eddie Izzard.
LEE SIMPSON starred opposite Julian Clary in the sit-com Terry and Julian for Channel 4 and has also appeared in Whose Line Is It Anyway, Jackanory and Drop the Dead Donkey. He co-devised and narrated Radio 4's The Masterson Inheritance. Lee has also appeared in numerous plays including The Pocket Dream at London's Albery Theatre. He toured with Paul Merton and Richard Vranch across the country, culminating in a run at the London Palladium. He has just finished several months as the breakfast programme presenter for Heart FM.
JIM SWEENEY has improvised for longer than anyone can remember and is widely acknowledged as one of the best improvisers in the country. He has starred in 3 series of Radio 4's The Masterson Inheritance and appeared in over 50 other TV and Radio shows including BlackAdder III, Whose Line Is It Anyway, CBTV, One Foot in the Grave, Jo Brand's Through The Cakehole.
RICHARD VRANCH is a doctor of radiation physics! He is the only performer to have appeared on every programme of Whose Line Is It Anyway performing all the musical improvisations. He is also a very experienced and accomplished verbal improviser appearing with the Comedy Store Players since l986. He is a well known TV presenter, presenting The Music Game and Cue The Music and a regular
panelist on Just A Minute. He toured with fellow player Lee Simpson in The Paul Merton Show nationally and at the London Palladium. He is currently writing a new TV show with Paul Merton.
