DAVID ELLERAY 

David Elleray was one of the highest profile international referees until his retirement. 

A highly entertaining speaker, David has many stories to tell about his career, the controversial games, the world-class players and the managers he has met during his years at the top in football.

David was there when Ryan Giggs scored his ‘wonder goal’ and just yards from David Beckham the day he scored from his own half. 
David’s life as a referee, and as a House Master at Harrow, featured in an award-winning sports documentary “The Man in Black” on Channel 4. 

David suffered death threats and if appropriate, he speaks candidly about the stresses modern referees have to face. 

David loved his life in football and gives a fascinating account of life as ‘the man in the middle’. An excellent after dinner speaker with some very funny anecdotes, David is a new speaking talent for corporate audiences.
