JASON MANFORD

Rising star Jason is just as at ease performing as a standup comedian or a compere. He has a very friendly style and one that does not offend but actually makes you laugh without any heckling or need to be aggressive with the audience.
Jason started his comedy life as a lowly pot collector at Manchester’s longest running comedy club The Buzz, when one of the acts failed to turn-up and Jason offered his hand on stage. After only five weeks he won the prestigious North West Comedian of the Year Award - previously won by Caroline Aherne, Johnny Vegas and Peter Kay - followed by Leicester Mercury Comedian of the Year Award reaching the finals of Channel 4’s So You Think You’re Funny? and the semi-finals of the BBC New Comedy award. In August 2008 Jason presented the comedy C4 Tonightly show taking a satirical look at the day's events. He is currently team captain on 8 out of 10 Cats for Channel 4.
