JOHN CUGLEY

John Cugley is actually a Corporate Lawyer to one of the UK's top 50 Plc companies but as a former advocate he has an eloquent gift as a wonderful raconteur, compere and after dinner speaker whose style has been described as a mixture of Clive Anderson with a dash of Terry Thomas.

John is a member of Leander Club, The Royal Enclosure and the Blandorum Club so has strong sporting connections. He is one of the Country's leading rowing historians, archivist to Leander Club and advises on Boat Race memorabilia.

As featured in a Daily Telegraph article, John's passions remain the Boat Race and Henley Royal Regatta. Amid press coverage, he has recently undertaken a single man 188 mile row of the entire River Thames from Gloucestershire to Greenwich and also a sponsored treble Boat Race Course distance of 21k metres on a Concept II machine against the clock.

"One of the funniest speakers I have ever heard, with that rich mahogany voice"
was the opinion at the Woolwich Plc National Conference where John acted as compere and after dinner speaker.

Combine the style, that voice, the wit, the delivery, timing, the sensitive eye for detail/perception of mood and above all the meticulous research specifically for your event and the result is an eloquent speaker.

John's forte is the conference and corporate circuit where as link man/compere and/or after dinner speaker he brings style and a bespoke humour tailored specifically for your company or organisation.
