REV JOHN ELEY
John came to prominence as The Cooking Canon on BBC TV's Pebble Mill at One when he entertained audiences with cookery and comedy as a double act with Rabbi Lionel Blue. He has three best selling publications from this series, The Cooking Canon, The Cooking Canon Entertains and Simply Divine.
He has a fascinating background. He was born the son of a shepherd, became a lighting engineer in the film industry and travelled across Europe at the gentle age of fifteen and hasn't stopped travelling since.
He is a regular contributor to Woman Magazine, Woman and Home and has many broadcasts to his credit. He constantly tours the country with his "Cook - Ins." He is the former presenter of a daily lunchtime programme on Radio Suffolk. His television appearances include BBC's "Food and Drink", regular TV AM presentations, Border Television Series "Canon in the Kitchen" and various Quiz Programmes, Granada Television's "Live From Two" and "The Funny Side" and Tyne Tees TV's "Highway" and "Flavour of the Month". He is a regular presenter on ITV's religious programme "Sunday Morning".
As a speaker he is in great demand throughout the country to a wide variety of audiences from Business Congresses to social occasions.
