KEVIN MORGAN:

Naturalist & Environmental Consultant

As a naturalist with considerable experience from Antarctica to the Amazon, and from whale-watching to swimming with dolphins, Kevin has plenty of first-hand fascinating facts and stories to tell about our natural world.

His audio-visual presentations combine stunning pictures with his knowledge and enthusiasm for the subject which keeps audiences on the edge of their seats.

He can also speak on a range of topics from ecotourism to shark conservation and from saving the seas to the issues of business and the environment.

EXPLORING THE RAINFOREST REALM:

With stunning slides and eerie sound effects learn about the vast array of life in the humid and hidden realm of the Amazon rainforest. Kevin dispels the myths (you can swim with piranha!) and highlight some fascinating facts, from 7metre-long Anacondas to the incredible adaptations of insects; Giant River Otters to giant toads, and from close encounters with caiman to the bizarre life history of the strangler fig tree.

He will take you to the most diverse place on earth, the Tambopata region in SE Peru. a remote area surveyed by the explorer Colonel Percy Fawcett in the 1910's.

The presentation is based on his experiences from over one and a half years as a naturalist in the region and my involvement for over thirteen years with TReeS. the Timbopata Reserve Society.

"Your presentation was stimulating and the photograph> beautiful - what more could we ask? Certainly the presentation was well received by our delegates and prompted a great deal of discussion afterwards".- Cecilia Slinn, Garden Centre .Ass. Winter Conference.

IN SEARCH OF THE FROZEN REALM:

Explore the Antarctic Peninsula where the sea. ice. icebergs. glaciers and mountains combine to create some of the most beautiful and breathtaking scenery in the world. Learn about comical penguins, great whales, belching seals and some of the most stunning wildlife spectacles in the natural world. Also find out about the history of the region by visiting some of the locations where it happened: from the first whalers to Shackleton's epic story of survival. With music to add to the atmosphere of the slides it is based on his experiences as a guide and ship's naturalist on an Antarctic cruise ship.

"Thank you so much for a fascinating lecture. The audience were most appreciative of the beautiful photographs of an area of our planet to which most of them will never visit. so when you return can I carry your suitcase?" Maggs Latter of Royston Pike Lectures, Esher.
