MALCOLM STERN

Malcolm Stern is a psychotherapist, specialising in group dynamics , relationships and individuals seeking change and transformation. He also works as a coach and business facilitator, organiser for creative events and is a media relationships expert.

He originally trained in Humanistic Psychology in the late 1970's with "The Institute for the Development of Human Potential" and is a member of the Psychotherapy division of the British Register of Complementary Practitioners. He is the co-author of "The Courage to Love" and co-founder and trustee of "Alternatives" the multi-disciplinary lecture series at St James's Church in Piccadilly, London.

ONE YEAR GROUPS

Since 1990 he has created and run two one year groups in London and Devon - " The Courage to Change - The Alchemy of Transformation" where participants meet one weekend a month to train in personal development and facilitation skills.

MEDIA

Malcolm has regularly worked in the media since 1990. He was the co-presenter of Channel 4's reality TV show on relationships - " Made for Each Other" in 2003 and has had a host of one off appearances on shows like " The Good Sex Guide" with Toyah Willcox and "Capital Woman" with Anneka Rice. He was an occasional panellist on Roger Bolton's " Sunday Matters" and regularly gave relationship advice on Talk Radio. Since 1993 he has presented a regular music show for Inflight Productions on the airlines. He recently advised Granada TV on body language for a forthcoming drama production.

CORPORATE COACHING AND FACILITATION

Malcolm regularly works with a range of clients including BMW, Ordnance Survey, Cisco Systems and the NHS. He is a consultant for OPDC ( Organisational and Personal Development Consultants ) and Boas Transformational Leadership.

PASSIONATE MOVEMENT EVENTS

For the last four years he has been organising a dynamic movement day at London's Cecil Sharp House featuring dance, tai-chi, bodywork and voice coaching. The latter has been led by hit songwriter and broadcaster Tom Robinson.

PERSONAL DEVELOPMENT HOLIDAYS

Malcolm is a regular facilitator at Skyros Holistic Holiday Centre in Greece, the Esalen Institute in California and Cortijo Romero and El Bosque in Spain.
