MARILYN ORCHARTON

Marilyn Orcharton is a serial entrepreneur. A qualified dentist, her first business was a dental practice. In 1986 she co-founded Denplan Ltd, a company which is still the UK market leader with a multi-million pounds turnover.

In true entrepreneurial style, Orcharton sold her stake in 1992 and founded Kite Consultants Ltd which has researched and developed ISOPLAN, a unique business management software package for professional outlets: dentists, doctors, nursing homes, lawyers etc. Identifying a gap in the market, she is now transforming the bricks and mortar company into an e-commerce business with transactions being carried out over the internet.

Simultaneously she is a founding director of two other businesses, both with unique products: Aerodynamic Recycling Technology Corporation Ltd which is bringing a unique environmentally friendly electronic waste disposal plant to Scotland and JIT International which, with two other women entrepreneurs provides training in business entrepreneurship to Eastern Bloc and Third World countries.
