MARK GALLAGHER
Mark Gallagher is Head of Marketing and Sponsorship at the successful Jordan Grand Prix Racing Team. Jordan Grand Prix were once described as "The most motivated team in F1" by Murray Walker, motor racing's famous commentator.
After a career starting in motor sports journalism, through to public relations, consulting and sponsorship 'dealmaker' Mark became Press and PR Manager for the Jordan Grand Prix Team. He left in 1993 to become the Account Director for Mobil Oil working on the British and World Rally Championships.
In 1994 he joined the Pacific Grand Prix Team in Formula One and was quickly promoted to Commercial Manager. In 1996, Eddie Jordan asked Mark to become his Sponsorship Manager and in 1998 promoted him to Head of Marketing and Director of Jordan.
Mark speaks on teamwork, motivation and investing in people to build a successful racing team. Using exciting video footage and slides, he offers a fascinating insight into the workings of a Formula One racing team. He will talk your audience through a race season demonstrating the motivation and leadership skills required and how they can be used by the team to maintain performance and commitment levels.
