For six years, Patrick was employed by the BBC to warm up audiences for Wogan, Blankety Blank, Paul Daniels Magic Show, Birds of a Feather and many more.
In 1993, Patrick turned his talents to the corporate world. His ability to win over a discerning audience to his philosophy that "it's possible to be a better person when you smile a little more and grimace a little less" has led to such comments as "Brilliant", "Uplifting" and "I laughed and laughed and laughed".

Patrick Tansey was born in Dublin. He was educated at Tranquilla School and St. Kevin's College, where he obtained a degree in Psychoceramics (the study of crackpots).
