PHIL BENNETT

Rugby speaker Phil Bennett

Welsh rugby union player for Llanelli, Wales, the British Lions, and Barbarians. An outstanding fly-half (usually partnered by Gareth Edwards at scrum-half), an expert kicker, with an adroit dummy, side-step, and swerve, he won 29 caps for Wales.

Phil Bennett made eight Test appearances for the British Lions, whom he captained in New Zealand in 1977 (only the second Welsh player to have led the Lions).

Phil is now a very much in-demand After Dinner Speaker both at Sporting and Corporate events where his funny anecdotes and pleasant personality always wins over the audience.
