LORD SEBASTIAN COE
Lord Sebastian Coe is one of Britain's greatest ever athletes and an outstanding motivational speaker - and head of the team which successfully landed the 2012 Olympics bid.
Along with winning two Olympic gold medals., he has held world records at 800m, 1000m, 1500m and one mile and achieved a total of twelve world records.
Sebastian Coe retired from athletics in 1990 and became a Member of Parliament for Falmouth and Cambourne in 1992. Various parliamentary posts followed and in 1997 he became a member of the International Olympic Committee.
In May 2004 Seb was appointed Chairman of London 2012, the company which lobbied to bring the Olympic Games to London.
In addition to Seb’s sporting success, he has written five books on a variety of subjects and is an experienced broadcaster and motivational speaker who can talk with great authority on individual and team success.
